Dr. Razani is a Primary Care Sports Medicine Physician specializing in non-operative orthopedic care, with extensive experience in treating both chronic and acute musculoskeletal injuries. Originally from Westchester County, New York, Dr. Razani developed a deep passion for sports, playing soccer throughout high school and continuing at the club level in college.
Dr. Razani earned his undergraduate degree in Business Management with double minors in Biology and Chemistry from Stony Brook University. He then pursued his medical degree at the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine. Following medical school, he completed his Family Medicine residency at Northwell Phelps Hospital in Westchester County, New York, and a Sports Medicine fellowship at Crozer Health.
During his fellowship, Dr. Razani worked closely with Division I athletes at the University of Delaware and professional athletes with the Philadelphia Union MLS team. He also served as a team physician for two local high schools, gaining invaluable experience in managing sports-related injuries and helping young athletes return to their activities safely and effectively.
Dr. Razani’s expertise encompasses the treatment of all upper and lower extremities, including the shoulder, elbow, hand, wrist, hip, knee, ankle, and foot, as well as the spine. He is skilled in non-operative orthopedic procedures, including ultrasound-guided joint injections, and is trained in advanced regenerative medicine techniques such as Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) injections.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Razani enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing soccer, hiking, going to the gym, and watching sports. His dedication to comprehensive, patient-centered care ensures that individuals of all ages and activity levels receive the tailored, evidence-based treatment they need to achieve their health and performance goals.
