Medical Receptionist

- Greet and attend to patients in person and over the phone.
- Check In and Check Out
- Professionally assist doctors, staff, visitors, and patients.
- Perform all duties within HIPAA regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality of all doctor, staff and patient information.
- Schedule appointments between doctors and patients.Liaise between medical departments with discretion and professionalism
- Perform rounds to ensure the entire clinic (physical therapy and medical) is well-maintained and neat during clinic hours.
- Monitor and ensure clinical equipment is functioning properly. Escalate any equipment or building issues to management.
- Maintain a steady flow of patients during clinic hours by monitoring provider schedules/coordinating with the front desk team to accompany patients to the exam rooms.
- Assist patients as needed with walking and preparing for the exam. Ensure each examroom/instruments are cleaned and stocked between patients and also organized andstocked for the next clinic day.
- Ensures that all patient records are updated (patient forms, ID/insurance cards,authorizations and consents) and patient logs are completed (new patient log, procedure log, and MRI log).
- Verifies patient insurance eligibility and obtains necessary pre-authorization, if required.
- Understanding of Workers Comp and No Fault.
- Adhere to policy and procedures during all activates.
- Assist with admissions/treatment as per agreed protocols.

Pay: $19.00 – $24.00 per hour
