About This Location

New York Bone & Joint Specialists at 1198 Third Avenue is the flagship location of the practice: the home of Manhattan’s first dedicated orthopedic urgent walk-in center, and the location where the practice has grown and expanded over 18 years into what it is today. It’s a full-service orthopedic and sports medicine center offering the complete range of New York Bone & Joint’s clinical services: orthopedic surgery consultations, non-operative sports medicine, interventional pain management, physical and rehabilitative medicine, EMG diagnostics, and in-house physical therapy.

The location is conveniently situated between East 69th and East 70th Streets on Third Avenue, three minutes from the 6 train at 68th Street–Hunter College. Physician appointments are available Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and on Saturdays from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Physical therapy is available Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:30 pm and on Saturdays from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. Walk-in orthopedic urgent care is available during physician hours without an appointment.
