About Trocon Davis

Dr. Trocon Davis is a non-operative sports medicine specialist at NY Bone and Joint Specialists. He holds an MD from the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine at Penn Medicine Chester County Hospital, where he gained expertise in the management of acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries in both adult and pediatric populations.

Dr. Davis’s path to sports medicine is grounded in personal athletic experience. He studied Psychology on a pre-medical track at Princeton University, where his experiences as a competitive athlete and his mentors guided him toward primary care sports medicine as a career. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at Lancaster General Hospital before his sports medicine fellowship at Penn Medicine.

At NYBJ, Dr. Davis brings a patient-centered philosophy to sports medicine: whether the patient is a professional athlete, a recreational runner, or an individual managing a chronic degenerative condition, the goal is the same — finding a way to improve their quality of life through the most appropriate, evidence-based non-operative care. He is trained in musculoskeletal ultrasound for point-of-care diagnosis and procedural guidance, including corticosteroid injections, PRP injections, and percutaneous tenotomy.
