About Dr. Adil

Dr. Othman Adil is a non-operative sports medicine physician at NY Bone and Joint Specialists. He completed both his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and his Sports Medicine fellowship at the University of Cincinnati — where he also served as Chief Resident for Recruitment and Development during his PM&R training. He earned his medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences and graduated cum laude in Neuroscience from the University of Cincinnati.

Dr. Adil’s team physician experience at UC Athletics gave him exposure to the full breadth of collegiate sports medicine — providing medical coverage across football, women’s soccer, women’s basketball, swimming and diving, women’s lacrosse, baseball, and track and field. He has served as team physician for area high schools and as a medical tent physician for major mass-participation events including the Flying Pig Marathon and Queen Bee Half-Marathon in Cincinnati.

His clinical focus is the non-operative evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, with specific subspecialty expertise in musculoskeletal ultrasound, ultrasound-guided injections, orthobiologics, and electromyography (EMG). The combination of sports medicine and EMG within a single physician’s scope is a meaningful clinical differentiator — patients presenting with nerve-related symptoms alongside musculoskeletal complaints can be evaluated and managed without being referred out. He is fluent in Arabic and conversational in French, extending care access to Arabic-speaking patients in the NYBJ community.
