With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Mills is celebrated for his commitment to providing high-quality orthopedic care.
Board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Mills is affiliated with New York Bone & Joint and Northwell Health, where he holds privileges at Glen Cove Hospital and Syosset Hospital. He also serves as a Team Physician for the United States Olympic Committee USA Boxing, bringing his specialized knowledge to athletes at the highest level.
Dr. Mills’ academic journey began with a medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed a General Surgery Internship at St. Luke’s – Roosevelt Hospital Center, an Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at New York Medical College, and a Sports Medicine and Adult Reconstruction Fellowship at the Insall Scott Kelly Institute. During his fellowship, he trained alongside the Team Physicians for the New York Yankees, New York Knicks, and New York Rangers.
Dedicated to advancing his field, Dr. Mills is an active member of several professional organizations. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (FAAOS) and the American College of Surgeons, as well as a member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America, the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.
